Similar to a bodysuit, but a teddy combines a camisole with the panties to form a single piece. Teddies usually have a thong back, snap crotch, and bra straps. They can be easily worn under your clothing for a night out, or even better to work. Some variations of the teddy include garter straps (hold your thigh highs up), Cupless (or open bust), open nipple, or just strings with a small amount of material to cover some areas.

A long nightgown or dress typically the hem is below the knee. Old style gowns did not have the super sexiness of a babydoll or chemise., but today's gowns have a lot of spicey elements. Lingerie gowns have been updated with well positioned sheer panels, super high leg slits, and plunging neckline. Gowns are great if you are a little modest or queen sized.

A corset is designed to be fitted or tight at the waist. They typically have boning to maintain the shape and for the feel of an old time corset. The typical old style corset tightly cinched the waist to form a sleeker waistline. Today's modern corsets are much more comfortable because they have some form of stretchy material to prevent too much pinching at the waist. Corsets are usually strapless and very decorative. They may cover the bust area or be just under the breasts to expose them, sometime called cupless or open bust. Corsets are typically a more expensive then other lingerie items, but they are very elegant.

Chemise

Chemise (Similar to Charmeuse)
Is a loose fitting sleeveless dress. Typically, there is some embellishment like lace trim, a sheer panel, or a high leg slit. This style is flattering for larger sized women.
A charmeuse is just like a chemise, but a charmeuse is made of a lighter material like silk or Satin.

Camisole

Camisole (Cami)
A cami is sleeveless like a tank top and tight fitting. A camisole can be cropped with the midriff exposed, or it can cover the entire midriff down to the hips. Lingerie camisoles are typically sold as a set with matching panties and sometimes with garter straps. The difference between a camisole and a chemise is the fitting. A chemise has a loose fit hem versus the tight fitting of a camisole. Also, camisole can have a built in bra.

Bustier
A bustier is very similar to a corset, but a bustier is just like a bra than a corset is. A bustier usually extends down below the bust. The length of a bustier varies from hip length to a few inches below the bust. They can have shoulders straps or they can be strapless. A bustier is comfortable, like a bra, but usually has a garter straps. This item is good if you like form fitting lingerie.

BodyStocking (or Body Stocking)

Body stockings are just like pantyhose except they cover the upper body as well as the legs. The material is the same for both body stocking and regular stockings. The material typically nylon, lace, or lycra. If your looking for a more durable body stocking then the lycra material is your best bet.
Yes, most body stocking are crotchless for a number of reasons, but my favorite reason is that it's much cooler down there than with the non-crotchless.
